The Philadelphia Eagles. Best team in the NFC East? Best team in the entire NFC? Best team in the NFL? I'll let you decide. In my opinion, they have one of the most explosive offensive in the NFL. They also have one of the best defensive units. They're just not consistant enough to be the best. If they want to win Superbowl XL, they'll need to be a whole lot more consistant. In each of their games so far this season, their defense has given up 14points vs. Atlanta; 3 vs. San Francisco; 20 vs. Oakland; 31 vs. KC; 33 vs. Dallas. Their offense always seems to struggle when their defense isn't clickin'. But, somehow they still find ways to win. Look, all I'm saying is one game doesn't change a season. Do not be suprised if the eagles come out next week and have their best game of the season. The Eagles are a great team, and they won't let one bad game change their season.

It took him five years to be the guy, but Josh Parry is enjoying his first full season as the starter at fullback. Parry's road to the NFL has not been easy. He has dealt with numerous setbacks, a severe injury to his brother Neil, among others. This paragraph courtesy of philadelphiaeagles.com

The reaction was expected. The Eagles went to Dallas and were beaten badly and suddenly the opinion out there is that the NFC East is up for grabs and that the walls the Eagles built dominating the division are crumbling.

Basically, that the rest of the NFC East and maybe the entire NFC have caught up to the Eagles.

And while I expected the reaction -- the sniping, the criticism, the suggestion that the team badly miscalculated in the off-season -- it still has me hot and bothered heading into the bye weekend.

Look, it was a bad loss. A terrible loss. The Eagles didn't show up to play their best game, and that is inexcusable. Last 4 paragrahs By Dave Spadaro

By CHRIS McPHERSON -- Hopefully, this time he'll stick around. Wide receiver Darnerien McCants was signed by the Eagles for the third time this season on Wednesday. McCants had been released prior to the each of the last two games. Room on the roster had to be made for...
